A&E Architects About A&E Staff

Staff A & E
The professional staff at A&E Architects is diverse in experience, education, interests, and skills. Diversity enhances our peer review of projects and our flexibility in design.

Degreed

Balanced

Diverse
Specifically, we select our people to maintain a balance of technical and design skills, yielding excellence in every project step, from programming and conceptual design through materials selection and drawing preparation. Senior employees bring stability and seasoned thought to A&E work; more recent graduates lend new ideas and perspectives.

Our architects are degreed professionals and members in good standing of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Montana Chapter of the AIA, and the Billings Architectural Association. Each regularly attends programs offered by these organizations on current issues, techniques, and approaches for project design and management.

All principals of the firm - James Bos, James Baker, Dennis Deppmeier, Thomas Holden, and James McDonald - are Montana natives and earned their bachelor of architecture degrees from Montana State University-Bozeman.
