On the practical side, she loves to build models (physical and digital) and make presentations, and she considers architecture a means to change peoples’ lives. On the philosophical side, she agrees with a professor in the field who said that architecture “eternalizes ideas and images of ideal life.” That mixture of pragmatism and altruism is probably why Jolene fits in so well at A&E. That, and her existential appreciation of the neighborhood brew pub.
