Brandon was raised on a wheat farm in central Montana, where hard work and hands-on learning shaped him. From this tactile upbringing came his desire to become an architect and craftsman. His diverse work experience allows him to be “an architect who thinks like a builder, and a builder who thinks like an architect.” After graduating from Montana State University, he spent time in Boston, MA, and Portland, OR. His design/build nature has led him to co-found a design-build architecture studio, manage and build for a woodworking/cabinet shop, work as a metal fabricator, and design for a historic preservation firm. In addition to raising a young daughter and son with his wife Jennifer, Brandon enjoys sailing, boatbuilding, bird hunting, and recently took up whitewater canoeing.
